Sharon Altrogge, DVM

Always a pet lover growing up, Dr. Altrogge had dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets and fish of her own. She attended undergraduate school and veterinary college at Iowa State University and practiced small animal medicine and surgery first in Wisconsin and Illinois before coming to settle in Michigan in 1991.

Sharon became interested in offering a more personalized, home-based service to busy families or individuals with one or more domestic pets that would benefit from having their doctor come to them. Thus, Home Health Care For Pets was established in 1998 as a mobile veterinary practice. In 2004 she expanded her diagnostic and surgical capabilities through the opening of a facility in Hamburg Township. Over the years, Dr. Altrogge is proud to have worked for several area animal rescue groups, providing discounted veterinary care.

Dr. Altrogge's family includes a son, a Labrador named Cole, and cats Carmel and Jimica. Her outside interests are music, outdoor activities, church volunteering and mentoring young people

Becky Campbell

She is the friendly voice you hear at the other end of the phone when you contact us at Home Health Care For Pets. Hearing your concerns and scheduling your pets are some of her daily responsibilities. Becky has previous office experience in the travel industry and graduated in 2011 from Washtenaw Community College as an administrative assistant. Becky lives in Brighton with her husband Jim and their poodle Molly. She enjoys sewing, gardening, cooking, camping and riding with her husband on their motorcycle.

Christine Redwood

She is office manager and veterinary technician for Home Health Care for Pets. She is a graduate of Wayne State University. She has 9 years experience as a technician with 5 years in emergency medicine. Christine lives in Romulus with her husband Rob and their two children. She has two dogs, Hank and Lilly, and a cat, Kiki.

Jenny Bell

She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Home Health Care for Pets. She accompanies Dr. Altrogge on house calls and works alongside her in the clinic and surgery. Jenny graduated from the Macomb Community College Veterinary Technician Program. She has previous experience with working at other veterinary clinics. She lives in Milan with her two cats, Dale and Winston. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family with various activities.

Jennifer

Jennifer is our staff member who keeps the clinic looking great. She enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, going to church and youth group, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets. She has two Labradors, Sadie and Sandra, and a cat Shadow. She currently attends Washtenaw Technical Middle College and hopes to become a veterinarian.
